Fjallraven Greenland Wax – Pack Of 2

Fjallraven Greenland Wax is an environmentally friendly water-proofing agent made specifically for use with G-1000 clothing. When applied to your clothing, this simple blend of paraffin and beeswax provides improved wind- and water-resistance, as well as overall durability, leading to a longer-lasting garment.

Unlike standard water-proofers which are added to your washing machine – thus affecting your entire garment – Greenland Wax allows you to truly adapt your garment’s performance to your personal preferences. For example, extra protection can be added to the knees and seat of your trousers where they are more likely to come into contact with wet ground, while leaving the rest of the garment wax-free and more breathable. A number of common applications can be seen in the guide above.

Greenland Wax is applied by simply rubbing the bar across the chosen areas of your garment, and then heating those areas until the wax is melted. The vast majority of Fjallraven clothing is treated with this wax impregnation as standard during manufacturing, and it is recommend that you re-apply this wax coating regularly to improve the life of your garment. To remove the wax, simply wash your garment in a washing machine at 40°C.
